Description
Vasily IV. Ivanovich Shuisky (* 1552 ; † 1612) was elected Zar after the death of the “fake” Dimitri. He reigned from 1606 to 1610. Under his rule there were conflicts between the noble families. A second fake Dimitri emerged and found support among the nobility. With Swedish help, he survived until 1610, when he was taken prisoner by Poland, where he died in 1612.
